Development of an Emergency Operational Dashboard
Objective and Primary Project Scope:
Emergency Operational Dashboard (EOD) will provide at-a-glance view of the status of preparedness and monitor the progress of emergency response to facilitate minimizing the gaps and overlaps. Information will be presented visually by graphs, tables, maps and short narratives to support quick decision making. It also helps for efficient utilization of limited resources with provision for monitoring who is doing what, where, when.
The dashboard software will also provide a broader view of available emergency relief stocks (food, non- food and other resources), belonging to the Government and humanitarian organizations located in different locations in the country. This relief and logistic pre-positioning information are key during an emergency in-order to decide on available logistics facilities to rapidly dispatch relief items to the affected areas in shortest possible time.
